I have never had a better car. Jeep to Porsche. This car is more fun and less money. I have owned the car since 2007 having purchased it less than a year old. I put over 30,000 miles on the car since then and have enjoyed every mile. I did make a few modifications. I purchased a rear wind screen for top down fun so my wife's hair did not blow all over. I also installed a chip that decreased the turbo lag and gives you a setting for good mileage or performance. You can really feel the difference when you want to have some fun on the weekend and then want to save gas during the week. In 2010 I had the Manhattan mini dealer install a pair of John Cooper works brakes on the front end. It really steps up the braking power on long trips where the standard mini brakes exhibit a bit of fade. The convertible top is power and the great feature is that it has built in partial open sunroof feature. I have serviced this mini at the Mini of Manhattan Dealer since I since I purchased it. It was in for a pre sale inspection in March 2012 and was rated in excellent mechanical condition by the service department. Please review the pictures for a few parking lot dings etc on the body. The drivers side front bumper has a couple of scrapes from a parking lot. Interior is in good condition with expected wear for a car of this age. I have reinstalled the original run flat tires that came with the car. I drove over 30,000 miles on this car on regular tires since I prefer the feel of those tires better. But you will get the original runflats and rims. This car is in Rutherford NJ just outside of Manhattan. If you are in the area come and take a look. Parts are available dirt-cheap on-line and on eBay. Insurance is relatively inexpensive given the performance specs on the MINI. Parallel parking is laughingly easy and driving in traffic is a breeze. Run...don't walk...to buy this car! Cheers!
