You couldn't come close to restoring a Mach1 for the reserve price I've placed on the great example. In other words, I have set a very fair reserve price. So if you are looking for a beautiful mustang to show off at car shows or just cruise around town then this is the one. The GoodThis Beautiful Mach 1 is in great shape inside and out. This Mustang turns heads and always gets the thumbs up. It wins it's class in every show it has been entered in. The paint is in great shape as the pictures show and has been shined and buffed to a glossy finish with no swirl marks or any perceptible paint abnormalities as far as I can tell. The Chrome, all around, is in excellent condition and shines up very nicely. The interior is in excellent shape as shown in pictures. All interior gauges are in working order except for the clock. The 351-4v Windsor engine starts right up and runs strong. The sound from the Flowmaster Dual Exhaust is great! A true blast to drive. Reliable for use as a daily driver but I used only as a show car. The Classic Auto-Air in the dash blows cold. The Underside of the Mach 1 is clean enough to eat off of as you can see from the pictures. The FMX automatic transmission with 2500 stall is in excellent working order with no known issues and shifts good through all gears. This Mach 1 rides on a nice set of Magnum 500 Rims and BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. The front and rear spoilers are also in excellent condition as this Mach 1 rarely sees the road as the primary use was show. The Shaker hood has a nicely executed Blackout treatment in great condition. The Trunk area is near perfect and has a never used spare tire. The rear window slats open and close smoothly and are in great condition. I recently replaced the suspension and upgraded to KYB Gas shocks to keep the tires glued to the road. I also recently replaced the Carburetor with a brand new Edlebrock carb. I keep the Mustang covered (cover included in sale) in an A/C controlled storage facility. In summary this classic Mustang is a blast to drive and would make a great investment. The Not so BadThere's not a lot to say here... But here are the minor issues that bug me that you may want to address... Get the interior clock to work. Replace the chrome trim under doors, they are scratched from shoes hitting it. Passenger door needs to be adjusted. If you're planning on this being a driver, I'd replace the dash lights as the old lights aren't that bright (at least for my eyes!). Tires are larger than stock tires (bit of a trade off here, better performance). Replace the antenna (it's there just showing it's age). The engine is a date code correct 351 Windsor (not original to car). Other than those, I'm drawing a blank, but I'm happy to talk or take additional pictures at your request.
