I bought this mustang in 2008 for a driver and started restoration on it three years ago. I have too many other projects and this one will have to leave the barn. I have replaced many new parts in the past two years. Here's a list of them. Fuel tank and filler.Fuel line.Fuel pump,filter, and rubber hoses.N.O.S. Carter carburetor with choke.Shocks.Battery.Tires.Hood.Points,plugs,cap and rotor, plug wires and coil. Everything works, wipers, lights, turn signals, heater, all gauges etc. Emergency brake needs to be hooked up.Brakes need work as the right rear wheel cylinder is leaking, stops fine, just have to keep adding fluid. Engine and three speed work fine, car starts right up on the coldest days of winter. Car drives straight, no wander.Clutch seems a little out of adjustment (releases to close to the floor for me) a minor adjustment.Side glass and rear glass is good, windshield has wiper marks and a small bulls eye. Mice got into the headliner this winter and I had to remove the headliner, rear carpet, and rear seats. Rear seats are now cleanand fumigated and the mouse smell is eradicated in the car. The car is complete, just partially disassembled interior that needs to be replaced/restored. The body is pretty rust free with the exception of some slight bubbling over the rear wheels, not too bad though. Paint is rough andI have started DAing the front and top and started some body work on the top where the old hood had flipped up some time in the cars past. New muffler and tailpipe.Horn works.No radio.Have drivers door side panel and arm rest.Solid floors, no rust.Brake cylinder leak is on the left rear brake, not the right as stated in the description.Will post more pics tomorrow of data plate on drivers door jamb and pics of slight rust over wheel wells.On Apr-25-12 at 17:45:07 PDT, seller added the following information: The Mustang's VIN# : 5R07T232102 The data plate on the door indicates a 1966 Coupe with a V/8 (C code?) So it's obvious that the original '65 door was changed out to a '66 door in the car's past as the door data plate does not match the car's VIN plate. Thanks to all of you mustang guys who pointed this out to me.So, this mustang is a true 1965, 6 cylinder, manual transmission model. (with a 1966 drivers door)
