Vehicle Detail

This is being re-listed due to a non paying bidder. If you do not have the money or permission from your spouse, DO NO BID!!! Up for auction is my 944 cab that I have owned since 1999. THIS VEHICLE HAS A REBUILT TITLE. I bought this car from the original owner whose wife lightly rear ended another car. The forward 4" of the driver's frame was damaged as well as the radiator core support. Everything else was "bolt on".Being an attorney, he insisted that the entire driver's side frame horn was removed at the firewall and replaced, so the insurance company totaled the car. He bought it back from them and also bought another 944 cab. At that time I was involved in a racing team campaigning 3 944S2 coupes in Grand-Am. I bought the car for use of parts in the event we needed them (but we never did). At the end of the 2000 season I repaired the car correctly and have driven it ever since. At that same time I installed many of the extra race bits we had. These include: big brakes, limited slip, Fabcar lower control arms, Brey Krause strut bar, M030 swaybars, Koni coilover front struts, MOMO steering wheel, silver face gauges, stainless threshold moldings, Kenwood stereo & 10 disk changer, Kinesis 18'' wheels, light flywheel, heavy duty clutch, ported head, mild cams, thermal coated header, bigbore throttle body and more stuff that I am likely forgetting. Currently I seldom if ever drive this car so I am selling it. If you are familiar with them then you know that they are fairly rare and often not treated with the care I have given this car. Basically, if it needs something, it gets it. In the last 3 years or so, I have serviced just about everything that might ever need attention. This includes: Timing belt, tensioner and idler pulleys, water pump, lifters, valves, all fluid reservoirs, master cylinders, slave cylinder, complete torque tube and clutch, CV joints, wheel bearings, rebuild struts, steering rack bushings, flywheel and cam sensors, airflow meter, and again... more that I am forgetting. The front suspension is powdercoated (the underside of the car in general is VERY clean, as is the motor compartment. The power top works, so do the power locks and the A/C blows cold. The front seats were re-covered a few years back and still look great. The biggest issue with the car is that the paint has a number of stone chips. I drove the car mostly on the highway when I was using it regularly. Also, the passenger side power mirror doesn't work and the cruise control sometimes doesn't work. I don't know what else I can say. The car is in great shape for it's age and mileage and hopefully it will go to someone who appreciates it and enjoys it on a regular basis. I am a long time car guy having owned a Porsche restoration shop for several years and simultaneously racing professionally (Most notably I won the Rolex 24 @Daytona in recent years) & working as a racing instructor for Panoz & Porsche. I have more cars than I have time to enjoy. There are also have some extra parts that go with the car but do not wish to sell separately. I will answer any questions as best I can. Thanks! THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEM REGISTERING THIS CAR IN ANY STATE, BUT DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU BID. I AM ONLY FAMILIAR WITH FLORIDA'S REQUIREMENTS. DUE TO THE REBUILT TITLE, A BANK WILL NOT LOAN MONEY ON THIS CAR. IF YOU ARE NOT A CASH BIDDER PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MINE.
