Was R titled because of a flood a while back, bought it back from insurance company and had the dealer go over the car. We followed their suggestions and replaced the parts brand new. For precautionary measures and the dealers suggestion, I replaced the ECM, main fuse box, and all relays and fuses. All brand new from the local VW dealership, and i have all receipts. Car is very nice, with just a few minor things i haven't fixed yet. Such as the passenger side front window (either a switch or the motor), the hatch release button on door, the airbag light is on (came on after parts were replaced - needs to be reset at dealer) and climate control is not responding (haven't even gotten around to checking that to be honest). I bought an older fox body mustang, and it's time to sell this car. The price of the car is way under book value, and reflects that it needs some minor TLC.
