Description Unique opportunity to own one of the rarest Benz ever built, this car started the super sedan segment. This 500E is in very good condition overall, no rust, never in an accident. Paint is in good condition, with minor blemishes in trunk area, door edges, very small scrape on right front fender wheel arch. Interior is in very good shape, may need new floor mats, the ones I have are ok but little worn; wood panel on center console shows a little wear; steering wheel leather has a little wear as well. It needs a new headliner Mechanically this car is in great condition, ready to go anywhere, these items have been done as preventive maintenance since I owned the car, May 2010: - Replaced Timing chain tensioner- Replaced Valve covers gaskets, vacuum air hoses, egr hoses- Replaced idler pulley tensioner- Replaced Front Struts (Sachs-Boge Heavy Duty)- Replaced strut tower mounts- Replaced ABS/ASR solenoid / actuator- Replaced brake light switch- Replaced (2) rear brake calipers- Replaced all 4 rotors and brake pads Front end is in need of ball joints and tie rods replacement, to provide a smooth ride, it drives fine, however it has a bit of shimming at around 45 / 50 mph., it could probably use new bushings too. Equipped with H&R Sport lowered springs, front heavy duty shocks, 18" staggered AMG replica aluminum wheels.
