1986 Toyota Xtra Cab, 4x4 pickup truck We believe we are the third owner of this 1986 Toyota 4x4, Xtra Cab pickup. The gentleman we bought it from here in Texas said he bought it from his Uncle, who bought it new. It has been very well maintained and shows it. The truck is a 4x4 and has front locking hubs. The air conditioning works great and was upgraded to R-134. The truck also features a Pioneer AM/FM stereo, delay windshield wipers and a sliding rear window. It also has a Line-A-Bed II, bed and tailgate protector. The tires are Dunlop “Mud Rover” radial tires and there is a full-size spare tire (does not match the other 4) in the factory carrier under the bed. This is our daily driver. We have the service records since purchase and have the clear Texas title in hand. The truck is in great shape 'for it's age'...meaning the truck clearly shows wear. The cloth seat upholstery is dirty the dash has a couple of narrow cracks in it and the paint has a lifetime of chips in it. This is just a really good old truck but not by any stretch of the imagination in like new condition. Our records show we've averaged better than 15 mpg. Guages work, stereo works, A/C works, glass is good, head/tail/brake/turn lights work, windsheild wipers and washer work, e-brake works, transfer case and locking hubs work, latches, locks and windows work. Feel free to ask questions. This would make a great bug-out vehicle as it is economical, has great ground clearance and off-road ability with the 4-wheel drive. Yes, we will pick you up at the McAllen, TX, airport (MFE) if you choose to fly in and drive it home. Yes, we will help get it dropped of to an auto transport (within reason) but the buyer is responsible for quotes, arrangements and cost of shipping it.
