Up for aucton is my 66 Galaxie with 69 original miles. I have had this car for a few years now and lost interest in it over a year ago. I built the motor had it running for a while but a lifter shattered do to comp cams sending the wrong aligning pin. I pulled the motor inspected it, cleaned it and reassembled it. I spent about a year reassembling it and I tried to start it a couple weeks ago. At first it started to start but back fired. I believe the distributor is a tooth off or the carb is shot from it back firing but not positive. Honestly I just want it gone. I don't have the time or patience right now because this is my busy season and I have other things on my mind. I have spent too much money on this and I don't want to spend any more money or time on it. Things replaced- Motor has a stock rebuild. Motor was honed, decked and cleaned with new cam bearings installed. New rings bearings, cam, valve job, hardened seats, new springs. 'All' new accessories minus a new alternator. The cam is a Comp Cams Thumpr cam. Has a holley 650 I believe. New C6 trans with a mild shift kit(B&M) Drive shaft was cut and balanced. New brakes, lines, cylinders, master cylinder, all drums were turned. New spring on the front. Radiator was rebuilt. Body is in great shape for being a 66. It has rust on each rear lip not very bad but is is through the metal. The frame is solid and so are the floor boards. Took me 6 months to find a solid car with a body in this condition. The front fender, pass door and trunk lid have been replaced do to dents. The wheel moldings need to be reinstalled and so does the front bumper and grill. I have a 500 grill and I believe I have an XL grill that will be included with the car. All the doors close nice and solid on the car. I have XL hubcaps that go with the car. The interior had bench seats to begin with but I sold them and installed a all black interior with bucket seats and a console. I have since sold the front and rear panels. I have brand new black carpet bucket seats and a center console in it. The frivers side bucket seat has a tear in the bottom cushion. The car is flat black with a white top and hood- Needs paint. Tires hold air but are completely dry rotted. Needs new shocks on the front and back. All the glass is good. -the front windshield. I have TONS of parts that go with this car. I have a good C6 trans, I have about 15 500 hubcaps, a extra pass side door window, rear drivers quarter glass. Lots of emblems and letters, I have a new master cylinder, new brake booster, I have about 3-4 sets of chrome head light bezels, tail lights, I have about 3 other boxes of misc stuff that goes with it! I prob have $5000 in the motor, trans and car but just want it gone. If the price doesn't go over $2000 the seats and center console will not go with the car.
