Vehicle Detail
The car drives and shifts great, very smooth and plenty of power for autobahn speeds. The interior is in excellent shape no tears in the seats, m5 steering wheel and all the deluxe options power/heated seats, sunroof, power everything. The AC blows ice cold and has vents in the rear for passengers it has a 6 disc CD changer. The car has also been upgraded with LED tail lights, HID angel eyes and headlights, m5 bumper, m5 wheels, lowered suspension. I just replaced the entire cooling system, synthetic oil, new belts and air cleaner in december and had new tires put on April 5th. It is however a 12 year old car and does have some issues, im very meticulous and believe in making every possible issue known to the new owner. Ill start with cosmetic and move onto mechanical. First off the hood has a good sized dent in the middle from a belt snapping and hitting it from the underside, its noticeable but never bothered me enough to have it replaced. There are 2 small dents in the rear drivers side door and 2 small dents in the rear passenger side door, all could be removed by one of those mobile dent guys. There are usual rock chips and normal wear and tear on the hood as expected the hood emblem is also faded. The interior is missing a few peices of trim, the front cupholder peice, the drivers side visor, and the little shift pattern cap on the shifter, also the rear passenger side window regulator is out. The suspension is a little mushy after 149k and the thrust arm bushings are getting worn causing a slight shimmy under hard braking, could also use an alignment. Mechanically the motor is in good shape for its age, the valve covers are both leaking and the SES light recently came on throwing 2 codes P0011 and p0021 showing over-advanced timing. I was told it was likely the VANOS timing or possibly timing chain tensioner or guides. Its a beautiful well maintained car and retailed for over $51,000 brand new, I just no longer have the time or money to invent anymore into it, iv already purchased an e46 m3 and need this gone. Would be interested in trades for a vintage Harley Davidson pre 1969. The car also has a clean AZ title notarized and ready to sign over to the new owner. Also have high resolution links to all the photos just ask.
