Classic Autoworx presents this beautiful '69 1/2 Dodge Super Bee tribute. By tribute, we mean this is car started life as a Coronet and has been built to resemble and perform like a Super Bee. You will be impressed with this one! This is a fresh body on restoration. Mileage since that time is less than 100 miles according to the owner. BODY/ PAINT: The paint on this vehicle presents beautifully and is done is a basecoat / clearcoat multi stage Orange with blacked out hood treatment and new vinyl top. Paint condition is a 10 out of 10, with all jambs matching (color sanded and buffed as well) including the trunk and engine compartment finished out flawlessly. There is no orange peel on this car and it looks flawless upon close inspection showing no chips or even small scratches. Very high quality paint, fit and finish. Polished trim and chrome items are in very nice condition. Original bumpers straightened and rechromed, original trim that was savable, straightened and professionally polished. All glass in excellent condition. One small star in windshield that was professionally repaired. INTERIOR: The interior on the vehicle looks great and features new upholstery, carpet, dash top, door panels, sail panels, sun visors and headliner. It is in excellent condition and all lights and gauges work. Original steering wheel, AM radio and aftermarket speakers. Very comfortable, not a cheap clean up. Seats were restuffed and done correctly. The interior looks beautiful and is fully functional. This is the type of vehicle that you can get in, hit the key and drive comfortably. There are no let downs here! Engine/Transmission Powered by a rebuilt, 440 ci V8 with 3 x 2v SIX PACK set-up. The engine shows well when the reproduction A12 lift off hood is removed. Runs very strong and seems nice and tight with the only internal modifications being a small RV style cam. Edelbrock SIX PACK intake topped with NEW 3 x 2v Holley carburetors and throttle arms / springs, the engine also features restored exhaust manifolds, performance plugs and wires, rebuilt alternator, new water pump, new belts /hoses and a newer battery. The transmission is a performance rebuilt 727 Torqueflite with a mild shift kit. A nice crisp shift, but not bone jarring. Runs and drives beautifully, no issues.Rear end is a 8 3/4" posi. Unknown gear ratio. No howling, clunking or abnormal noises. Gets both back tires spinning.Custom dual exhaust system with reproduction style exhaust tips. Should provide years of enjoyment with continued proper care and service! Brakes, Steering, Suspension and Structure The brake system on this beautiful car was rebuilt. Manual disc brakes up front, drums in the rear, stops straight and very well. Steering components look good and were rebuilt / replaced less than 100 miles ago. The suspension has been restored as needed. There is no major rust that we have seen. Everything looks solid and the frame, floor pans and all underside components look to be in great shape. There are a couple of very tiny pin holes in the trunk that were so small, the owner elected to not change out the original trunk sheet metal, as the entire car features all original sheet metal to this original CA car. Restored Black steel wheels with NEW Redline reproduction tires!
