My grandmother owned this car for years before me, I got it with maybe 23,000 miles on it. The mileage is indeed 68,000 the odometer has not rolled over. I owned this car for about two years before I had my first break down. Got the car fixed, but now, 6 months later, it has succumbed and thrown a rod. I had my mechanic inspect it, and he says the vehicle is perfectly sound. The problem is just the engine block. The car even has a new intake manifold and heads from the previous repairs. The only thing that needs to be replaced is the short block. I am buying a new car, but I believe this car could be useful as a project to someone who is more mechanically inclined. Exterior is good. A few scratches on the roof, and one tiny dent where someone on campus opened their door into my car (see pic). Inside is great as well. a couple of minor stains on the floor, and a tear in the cloth behind the left rear window. Transportation is the buyers responsibility, but I will be more than happy to work with you. I expect payment in cash on pickup, unless you wish to pay with a bank or cashier's check.
