Vehicle Detail
I have for sale a fun car that you rarely see! A rust free 1970 Saab 96! It has undergone a recent, partial restoration. The body has been repainted the original color plus a new clutch and fuel pump installed. Before I bought the car, it sat in a storage unit for 10 years. The engine runs very good but has a little blow by. I think it just needs to be driven more. The interior is original and could use a restoration (the drivers seat has been patched once). The rear bumper is a little dinged up in one spot and a rear marker reflector is partially broken. The gas gauge is a little finicky and the temperature gauge does not work. Other than that, the car is a very solid driver. It also has a new stereo and speakers in the rear. The car has excellent tires on it, along with the spare and the jack. I have two shop manuals, the owners manual and a bunch of old Saab Club of America magazines that will be included. Please let me know if you have any questions! The car will be sold as is and the buyer will be responsible for the shipping. On Apr-10-12 at 15:53:58 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have put new front and rear shocks on the vehicle. On Apr-11-12 at 17:48:13 PDT, seller added the following information: One thing that I did fail to mention was that there are fine scratches in the windshield where the wipers were run at some point without blades. I believe that they would come out fairly easily with some glass polish. On Apr-12-12 at 07:25:29 PDT, seller added the following information: No Reserve! I have decided that I just have too many cars and this one must go. I have lowered the reserve price to just over the current bid and after that the high bidder will take it!
