Vehicle Detail

Rare 1973 Trans Am in Brewster Green! This is a terrific TA...for show or for cruising. This TA has the Firebird hood graphic and has been carefully restored, checked over and drives beautifully. Restored in Portland, OR in 06-07 (per the invoices I have). I bought this car in August 2011. In December 2011 I had the car checked over carefully by a highly regarded muscle car shop in suburban Chicago, spending $7,000 for various things: new hoses, new battery and mount, oil/filter, lube speedo, replaced shifter assembly, install new Pioneer CD/radio with IPOD hookup, repair under dash wiring, new steering box, heater core, repair heater controls, etc. It is in GREAT shape. I doubt I have put more than 200 miles on the car since purchase. I have several cars and decided to make rooom in the garage for a later model car. The engine runs very, very strong. Engine is not #s matching. The party from whom I bought it thought the trans was original though I have not checked and can't be certain. Some highlights: 1) I have a stack of invoices from the person who did the restoration. Done in 06-07. Painted 8/06 cost $10,000. Excellent condition. 2) When I bought is in 8/11 the seller said "new wheels, Nitto tires and new SSBC brakes". 3) In the paperwork there's a notation of "3.08 gears" and a "powertrax traction system" but I have not verified. 4) It has the RidePro Air Ride System...very cool and $$ ! ARC4100e compressor system. Front and back. Raise or lower car w air compressor; push of a button on console. 5) Photos show what I believe a buyer should be aware of: (a) edge scratch at passenger door where door, when opened, rubs body. Just need door adjustment; (b) Scratched passenger window probably in the door some metal piece needs adjusting; and (c) very slight alligator in paint on front nose..easy to re-paint small area. ** My reserve price is below market and this car will sell. Car is sold as is-where- is with no warranty. Winning bidder must pay by cashiers check or wire transfer within 72 hours of end of auction and buyer must pay for all shipping and insurance.
