For Sale: 1972 Plymouth Barracuda- It is in very good condition. It had been restored a few years ago to like original condition.Used very little since, mostly sat in storage with other collector cars.It has been driven lately on weekends & runs, drives, stops well. It's a true H-code 340HP car.It has the legendary 340 High Performance engine also known to be highly dependable.Engine casting # 2780930-340 along with a late intake date code of 11-18-71 which are correct for the 72 model. It had been rebuilt to stock specs(holds good oil pressure, etc) but does have a pair of highly desirable HP or AAR style factory exhaust manifolds. Also has dual exhaust with the rear Cuda tips through valance-great sound! The 727 trans. has the desirable mopar SlapStick shifter option & along with the Suregrip rearend w/3.23 gears make it run out good.It has disc brakes up front/drum rear.It has upgraded 15" rallye rims with a good set of white letter tires.Has smaller 225/70/15 tires in front for easier steering & 255/60/15 in rear for better traction,as well as an all around better muscle car stance-great look! The body has a very good paint job.Desirable B5 blue,It has been laid down smooth,no orange peel, runs, etc.Very solid & all the original body panels line up,good gaps, etc. The unique 72 side stripes are also smooth & line up properly. The body was taken apart & trimmed out-the extra detail shows(doors, door jambs, inner fenders, trunk, etc) The inside floors were blasted & primed, then a few coats or POR15 for extra protection as well as the underside has been undercoated along with wheel wells, etc. It has all its original safeguard solid tempered Chrysler safety glass & trim. The interior overall looks good & retains most of its original parts. It has the desirable black bucket seat & floor console option. The dash for its age has the normal crack at the center speaker. The door panel on the passenger side(top) has some wear but overall presentable. The seats, carpet, package tray, headliner look good. The radio needs to be hooked up(will provide the radio wiring plug in).Gas gauge & temp do not work(will provide spare temp guage).Yet it does have the desirable Rallye gauges & trim. The speedo, tachometer, oil pressure work as well as the lights, signals, etc. This 72 year was recognized as one of the last desirable muscle cars.It had a better bumper design as the earlier cars which complimented the body.Along with the HP 340 engine & A51 Sport Decor package including the power bulge (sport) hood, side stripes really make it stand out. Will be sold with notarized bill of sale & registration. If you have any questions, please email or I welcome you to come & look for yourself... Thanks for your consideration
