This 1970 ORIGINAL Ford Mustang is truley a RESTORERS DREAM. It has the original 302 V8 for that fast automatic transmission take off and bright yellow, easily recognized in any parking lot. Purchased new in '70 my grandmother drove it sparingly from 1970 to 1997 in Southern Oregon, until she felt she should no longer drive safely at age 87. Wanting to keep it in the family I purchased it from her and drove it back to my home in No. Dakota where I intended to use it as a daily driver. Other priorities got in the way and it was subsequently stored, indoors, with relatives for the past 14 years. Finally last spring we decided it was time to pull it out of storage and sell the classic mustang. Remarkably, with little effort (replaced points with electric ignition) it started up and runs. Of course after years of storage it will require some work but a friend who restores old cars said this would be a dream to the right person as it is in such good shape. Another friend who has worked on a number of Mustangs says he's "never seen one that has all original parts like this one". The interior is in good shape with the exception of the seats which are somewhat worn. The dash board, glove box, headliner, side panels, floors, trunk and engine compartment are all in there original good shape. All things considered there are but a few cosmetic issues including spots of rust starting which should easily be repaired. I listed it last Fall but was reluctant to sell as it has alot of sentimental value to me. It's time though and I will definatley be dealing it to some lucky person in 2012. Look around, I am confident you will not see another Mustang in this good of shape for a price that is this resonable.This FORTY TWO year old classic mustang is truly a one of a kind ORIGINAL.
