2005 Ford Crown Victoria-V8 P-71 two-owner Sedan 4D Police Interceptor P-71 This Crown Vic runs and handles great, and is a joy to drive!If reserve price is met, these options will be included: front brush guard/cattle-pusher, custom consol with padded elbow rests, locking primary storage, and highly desirable chrome lug/wheel covers (see photo). This P-71 is a “two-owner” vehicle, but all maintenance records from its active duty days are available. Before I purchased this two years ago, I was assured that the law enforcement officers who operated this quality vehicle were of the more mature and responsible ilk. The condition and handling of the vehicle would indicate such as well. Please note that this daily driver is currently at 108k miles, but that will change. It is for sale “as is” with some of the indicators of its former duties including radio antenna holes that have been plugged successfully. Also the spotlight worked until last month, so I assume it needs a new bulb. This fun ride is also for sale locally. Yes... the Air Conditioning blows nice and cold. The last oil change was 2,600 miles ago, so I will allow the new owner to enjoy their own oil change when that time comes. By the way, this strong motor does not burn nor leak oil. The tire size mentioned on the copy of the window sticker was P225/60VR16 which is what did come from the factory, but I currently have 225/70/16 Firestone Destination LE's mounted and the handling is just fine... perhaps even a little more comfortable. Rest assured, I want the new owner to be completely satisfied with this transaction. Such comes in handy as I had forgotten that there had been a couple literal "fender benders" with this ride. I rechecked the service records documenting every oil change, etc, since new. A VIN# check found in the listing above: "Accidents: Issue Found." How cool is that!?! That's good to know. In the folder of repairs, there is even a photo of the "before" picture. A headlamp was replaced, and some very minor work done around it. Such minor bumps were expertly repaired, and to my [untrained] eye, I am unable to see where repairs have been performed. Yes, the AC blows nice and cold and the heater was toasty this winter. OK... per the NADA valuation [see above], and what comparable Crown Vics are selling for... I would say she is worth $4k- $5k. If she were even more of a cream-puff, I would say higher than that, but she does have normal wear for a 2005 with a smidgen more than 100k miles. These P-71 Interceptors are built to last, so she's barely broken in. One can expect a solid, clean, reliable ride. This is one of the most low- maintenance vehicles I've owned, with the best performance. However, I do have some bills coming due and this must sell soon.
