Vehicle Detail
I have here a 1976 Triumph TR7 Coupe. It was marketed as "The Shape of Things to Come" and generally resembled a door stop. As you can see in the pictures this car is well ventilated in the floorboards, trunk area and various spots on the exterior. While most of the unibody structure appears sound enough, the front strut towers have some rust holes around them and repairs should be made before any spirited off road excursions or aerial stunts are undertaken. The engine is in an uncooperative state as the crankshaft refuses to move despite my best efforts at coercing it with a very long breaker bar. It's a reasonable undertaking to swap a Rover V8 into the car to make it into something respectable like the TR8, a doorstop with a V8. Since the car is not drivable I have made no attempt to determine if trivial things like lights, brakes or the clutch are working or if the suspension will respond properly in high G maneuvering. The tires are mostly holding air in over long periods of time and it rolls easily enough. I have a pallet of extra parts and parts that I removed from the car when I began to inspect it. I have a clear title for it. I someone chooses to have the car shipped a transporter can easily maneuver around our parking lot and we can assist with loading. The car is for sale locally as I have placed a large "For Sale" sign on it in a high visibility area and I may be succumb to a passerby's offer before the auctions ends. So bid fervently for your chance to own a car that frequently makes it onto top 10 lists of worst cars ever made. p.s. I may accept trades for a Trabant.
