BMW - X5 parked in a indoor garage, downtown Chicago by the original owner who purchased it only a few blocks away at Perillo BMW. Vehicle purchased new in 2001 with virtually all options available at the time (see photo of Dealer Sticker for even more detail). Beginning with desired larger engine: 4.4 Liter DOHC, 32- Valve (4 cam) V- 8 Performance Engine. Maintained with recommended Mobil One Synthetic oil so engine is very sound. 5 speed steptronic Dual-Mode Transmission with Adaptive Transmission Control, Full-Time All-Wheel Drive with Automatic Differential Braking, Hill Descent Control, Both Driver & Passenger Front & Side Airbags, Head Protection System (HPS), Self Leveling Rear System, All Season Traction (AST), Dynamic Stability Control for all-wheel drive (DSC-X), Dynamic Brake Control (DBC), Remote Keyless - Entry Security System, Automatic Climate Control with Separate Right & Left Temperature Controls, Rear Passenger Separate Climate Controls, Power Windows With One Touch, Electronically Adjusted Steering Column, Sport Package: Larger 19" tires, a Front Pair of specially designed Michelin Diamaris tires ( 255/50-19) and a Specially Designed Rear Pair of Michelin Diamaris tires (285/45-19 ) for truly awesome handling. Sport suspension, Leather wrapped sport steering wheel, Anthracite headliner, White turn signals. Activity Package: Heated Front Seats, Headlamp Washer System, Rain Sensor, Ski Bag, Power Glass Moonroof, Rear Window Sun Blinds, Very attractive light wood grain trim option throughout front and rear interior - doors, dashboard and floor consoles. Park Distance Control, Xenon Headlamps, Navigation System, Premium Sound System w/ DSP including 6 CD changer and cassette deck, Sirius Radio also added after market, Sun Protection Glass, Driver & Passenger - 8 way Power Seats - Sport Design black leather seats with comfort leg extension. BMW - Rubber mats located throughout including Trunk Area comfortably sitting over black carpeting. Special BMW designed grocery bag and loose item low rise box conveniently located in rear tailgate. Car has not transported Pets, Children & has been maintained as a Smoke - Free Environment. This is what helps explain why the interior has been so well maintained. BMW Cassette deck installed under a hidden radio panel that automatically lifts up ( see photo ). Negative Points: Vehicle has scrape to rear right door ( third to last picture). Whereby a support column was scraped inside garage when making a right turn. Front left headlamp has condensation (second to last picture). Windshield has a small spider in glass. Safelite repaired it and stabilized it over four years ago. BMW has some nicks and blemishes as result of 11 year old car. I would consider this normal. (Please see all photo's) Vehicle has exceptional pickup. Engine runs extremely smooth and quiet, Handling is a major attribute. BMW X5 simply performs and handles extremely well on the highway. Mechanically the vehicle is extremely sound. Engine is cosmetically very clean. Would rate the interior condition in exceptional condition. I would rate exterior paint as good. X5 shows no rust but has nicks and blemishes. Please note last picture with BMW emblem. There are scratches. Recent service included the following: Rear Michelin Diamaris passenger tire replaced with a brand new one. Complete Mobil One synthetic oil replacement. Freon was flushed and recharged into system making air-conditioning really cold for the Summer months. Radiator hose was replaced. Coolant was completely flushed from radiator system. New Coolant was replaced. Brand new Delco battery was replaced. Other three tires were visually inspected, air was brought up to proper level and none of the tires required change! Additionally, all liquids were topped off. An individual can describe how something is and since it is not a science there is room for error. How one person rates another may have another rating so it's extremely subjective. This is another good reason to physically inspect, drive X5 and feel how wonderful the vehicle rides. WHEN ONE IS MAKING A FAST COMMISSION PERHAPS IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT THEY EXPRESS OR NOT. PLEASE TAKE ME UP ON DRIVING THIS X5 & WHAT I AM SAYING WILL BE CLEARLY EVIDENT. I AM CONVENIENTLY LOCATED DOWNTOWN, CHICAGO. I AM THE ORIGINAL OWNER!!!! Above all please feel free to inspect this X5! I understand this is a serious and expensive purchase and well worth it! You won't be disappointed. This is a well built vehicle that has been maintained by ME! THIS VEHICLE IS BEING RELISTED AFTER BUYER COULD NOT AFFORD X5.
