This is a 1982 280ZX 5-speed manual transmission coupe. Not a turbo or 2+2 nor does it have a sunroof. I have owned this great car for 29 of its 30 years and hate to have to sell it. It was in Texas for its first 28 years and now SC for the past two years - never in snow or salt and no rust. When at home it has always been garaged and I have a custom cover (included) which was used when parked it was parked outside at work. It also has louvers. The car runs great and starts right up. I have been using it almost every day and it's still fun to drive! Everything (a/c, power doors/windows/mirrors, radio, cruise) works except for the cassette deck (as if you still have any cassettes!) and the long-gone power antenna. The car still has its original paint which has faded in a few spots and has some road and parking lot nicks. There is also a small tear in the rear bumper (see pictures). The vehicle has never been in an accident save for two minor parking lot bumps which were repaired. The interior is all original save for the floor mats. The driver's side carpet is worn through at the accelerator heel position but easily covered by the mat. The driver's seat has a very slight tear which should be easy to fix. The vinyl covering two of the panels in the cargo area has deteriorated. The tires still have plenty of tread. The car was given a 17-point check by the local AAA service folks earlier this month when I had the oil changed. There were no issues. I have posted a complete service/maintenance history here. On Apr-04-12 at 10:54:08 PDT, seller added the following information: Update (4/4/12): Several people have asked for photos of the undercarriage. I just took the car in and had the tires rotated (guys love to gather around and talk about the car!) and while it was on the (short) rack, I took a few photos underneath. I have posted all the pictures including a couple of the engine compartment on my website. I noticed when looking at the pictures that there appears to be some minor rust below the right side of the trunk. However, most of what shows there are cracks in the undercoating.
