PLEASE NO BIDDERS WITHOUT ATLEAST 5 POSITIVE FEEDBACKS !! PLEASE READ COMPLETE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BIDDING !!!! PLEASE INSPECT THE CAR BEFORE BIDDING,, NOT AFTER BIDDING !! Selling off my toys!! Putting some money into the house ! This car has BEAUTIFUL base/clear paint that was done last year. Nice Deep sanded and buffed paint on a nice looking body. 1967 4 SPEED !!!! GTO Convertible clone. I bought this car last year from a gentleman who owned the car for about the last 15 years or so. Here is everything I was told about the car when I bought it. I’m told it was an original 326 V8 car now a 400 4 Speed The car has a Rally gauge cluster in it that I’m told came with the car new . It has a working Tachometer. The other gauges like gas gauge, oil + water also seem to work with the exception of the speedometer. It also has a working center console vacume gauge. The engine I’m told is a 400 and a “WT” code with 6X cyl. Heads from a 1975 Trans Am that was rebuilt to stock specs and have very low miles on them. It has a nice sounding dual exhaust with a pair of flowmaster style mufflers. It has a record “Harrison” 4 core radiator. I’m told the transmission is a “Muncie” 4 speed with a hurst shifter. The rear axle is a 10 bolt with a 3.08 gear. I’m also told it is a posi. rear. I don’t smoke the tires so I can’t be positive. It has a rear sway bar with boxed control arms and a large front sway bar. It has a GTO hood on it and some new GTO emblems. The convertible top is not new but looks fine and is nice and clean. I work the top manually as the power top switch doesn’t do anything. The floors and frame look nice. They could use some cleaning up and maybe some black paint. I also replaced the front and rear bumpers with new and also put on some other misc. chrome. Like door handles and emblems. The inside is not new but still looks clean. The console has some pit. The dash is very nice looking. Also included with the car is a new box of window felts. The taillight gaskets should be replaced as they are kind of hard and do allow some water to sneak in when washing the car. The car RUNS ,,, SOUNDS,,, AND DRIVES GREAT !!! A fun car you can really enjoy. It has power steering and manual drum brakes that have alittle pull to them with the first couple stops of the day but then stop nice after warmed up. Upgrade to disc would be nice. Everything else like the “Kenwood” stereo, emergency brake, horn + heater seams to work well. the wipers are inop. There is also a hidden ignition kill switch mounted under the dash. The clutch works well it engages about a couple inches off the floor and the car shifts well. It feels nice going down the road. A SUPER FUN car to drive !!!!!! SOMEONE IS GOING TO REALLY ENJOY THIS CAR !!!!!!!!!!! COME CHECK IT OUT !!!!!! The car is a real pleasure to drive !! I drove the car on a transport plate so I never registered it. I have the paperwork from the last owner that he just signed and handed to me. Connecticut uses the registration and the title as one. Ownership transfer is done on the back side of the registration in the buyers section. I also have a bill of sale to go with it. Not a 40,000.00 dollar show car but could be one depending on the level car you desire. A 300. paypal deposit due at auction end. Please be sure that works for you before bidding. Please feel free to bring your mechanic and inspect the car to be sure it meets all your expectations. This description is mearly my opinion. Everyone has different expectations. Please come verify all to satisfy yourself. Selling as is. 300.00 deposit is due immediately following the auction end. Balance due within 5 days. A check is fine but will need atleast one to two weeks to clear my bank before car or paperwork leaves. This is what my bank has told me. Cash if you are looking to pick up the car personally. I’m sure you can appreciate that. On Mar-26-12 at 13:18:12 PDT, seller added the following information: THANKS FOR ALL THE QUESTIONS AND COMPLIMENTS. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS PLEASE LET ME KNOW THANKSOn Mar-26-12 at 13:21:41 PDT, seller added the following information: JUST TO ANSWER A FEW OF THE MOST POPULAR QUESTIONS,,,,,,,, THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE MORE SOLID 1967 CARS OUT THERE. THE FLOOR PANS LOOK TO BE ORIGINAL AND SHOW PRETTY DECENT. THE FRAME IS NOT ONE OF THOSE VERY SCALEY FRAMES. IF SOMEONE CARED TO YOU COULD HIT IT WITH SOME LIGHT SANDPAPER AND PUT SOME BLACK PAINT ON IT TO MAKE IT LOOK NICE AND CLEANOn Mar-28-12 at 18:28:29 PDT, seller added the following information: THANK YOU TO THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO LOOK AT THE CAR.
