85 % COMPLETE RUNS AND DRIVES 1953 Buick 45-R Special Deluxe Riviera 2 Door Hardtop 79K MILEAGE ORIGINAL ON CAR WHEN I PURCHASED. THIS VEHICLE WAS STORED IN DRY BARN SINCE 1965 to 2005. And then kept in dry pole barn during time I have been working on restoration. Has never been left outside in the elements. Vehicle had a straight eight three speed, never wrecked or damage. I AM SECOND OWNER, the original body has been Custom painted, shave door handles and trunk, shaved hood and luvors, THEN I HAD ORIGINAL BODY INSTALLED ON newer Cadillac Frame and Drive train with 75k original miles, complete 307 automatic, newer seats installed and wired, runs and drives but not road tested. I am only selling because I have been laid off due to job cuts and need to try to recoup some of the money I have invested in order to survive during job loss and do not have the extra income to complete. This is great project vehicle that is approximately 85% complete. Headlights, etc. are completely wired for 12 volt using the Cadillac harness from front to rear bumper. Old style chrome reverse wheels with Baby Moons, brand new WHITE WALL tires, new brake lines and brakes, new front shocks and new rear air shocks, gas tank clean and sealed, transmission and engine was completely flushed and new fluids and filters, new transmission cooler, new battery. Stainless chrome is in good condition, new carpeting, new AM/FM CD stereo system installed in a built fiberglass consol with gages. Frame was sandblasted and painted. New body mounts. Windshield has been reinstalled with new rubber. Do have extras which I have purchased for the vehicle which I will give to buyer, such as material for door panels, and glass kit for 50's buick, etc. Still needs interior finished, headliner, doors wired, door popers, trunk wired, driver door and vent glass, Has all other glass installed in good condtion. Exhaust system is complete except for a small 3 foot section between the Y pipe and rear axle. The reserve is SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER than the 16k I have invested in the vehicle for quick sale. I have been working on this project off an on in my spare time after work since 2005. I don't have receipts as I did not intend to sell the vehicle. This is a project car and because it is, the car does not come with a warranty. This car is sold "as is" and buyer is responsible for pick up or cost and arrangment of shipping. I am not responsible for any shipping or delivery. Also, once vehicle leaves my premises I will not be responsible for any damages, costs, etc. (Such as damage during shipping, reimbursement because vehicle is involved in an accident by buyer or buyer's shipper, etc.). Once vehicle is paid for and picked up and leaves my property it is solely your responsiblity.
