1969 CHEVROLET CAMARO Z28 This Camaro is allegedly a real Z/28, but since it is a LA built car, the cowl tag does not verify it. However, it does have characteristics of the Z/28. It has orginal rally gauges, multi-leaf rear springs and a tail pipe hanger bracket on the left rear frame rail behind the tire, which is unique to the Z/28. This is probably academic since it's a restomod. The car is powered by a Generation V 454 with a four bolt main. It was dynoed at 421 hp at the rear wheels. The engine is dressed up with chrome, aluminum and stainless. It breathes through stock manifolds attached to 2.5 inch stainless steel exhaust. Behind the engine is a rebuilt muncie M20 close ratio four speed and a 12 bolt rearend. The bright work is beautiful with reproduction grille and headlight bezels, polished stainless and perfect chrome. At a cost of more than $13,000, the rust free body was stripped, straightened and painted in a gorgeous Chinese red Basecoat Clearcoat with stunning results. The car is laser straight. The interior is equally nice with almost everything new or replaced including Flo-Fit buckets, tilt wheel with power steering, vintage air AC, an alpine AM/FM/CD with amplifier and four speakers. The car also has a completely rebuilt power disc brake system and a new fuel tank. Over $65,000 was spent to restore this GORGEOUS Camaro.
