1982 Honda GL500

This is a 1982 GL500 that I purchased a while back with the intentions of making a cafe racer. It is a cool model that was Honda's knock off of a Moto Guzzi. The bikes runs and drives but has been sitting little while and the carbs need further tweeking. It took the carbs apart a year ago and rebuilt them. The rear brakes work but the front are not working now. It had a master cylinder from a Yamaha on it but I have a honda one that needs work. The lights need checking out it put new turn signals on the rear but they need completing. Basically it just need finishing up. It has a K & N filter custom made intake and cafe bars that were made up. I have a extra set of carbs and a pile of parts from a cx500 that can go with it. It has mufflers from a Harley and it sounds good and loud. I cut the back end off and put the rear fender from a CX500 on it. It has a two tone spray can paint job that looks good to me. The tank was lined with POR because it had rust in it so it looks great now. I made a custom seat pan. It will also need some tires because although they have tread they have dry rot cracks. This bike also has an air adjustable suspension. I have a clear title in hand and the bike has 42098 on it which is not much since these bikes were known for going 100k easy.
