This original motor and automatic transmission are included in this auction. Build-out sheet, technical service bulletin, and window sticker included. Vehicle identification # BS23J0B287496 Description: The car was painted 10 years ago and is good condition with minor chips. There is evidence of body work in the lower front quarter panels. The original fiberglass fresh air intake hood has a slight bow. The interior and glass are in very good condition. The exhaust is new and sounds great. Suspension is tight and the car handles very well. Power brakes work well with no pull. The tires are B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A, 255/60/15 front, 275/60/15 rear. 95% of tread remaining. The factory complete 472 Hemi crate motor ($20K) was installed less than 1000 miles ago. This beast has a great lumpy idle and tons of horsepower and torque. This car is not for the faint at heart!!! The car is equipped with a Hurst shifter, shifts smoothly and of course, has the rare “pistol grip” shifter. All this power is sent smoothly and quietly through a 3:55 Sure Grip posi rear. Its roots go back to the SCCA’s road racing Trans Am Series. AAR stands for “All American Racers”. Unique to this car are the “strobe stripe” with the AAR ‘Cuda logo, fiberglass hood with fresh air intake, “eyebrow” front spoilers, rear “duck tail” spoiler and side exhaust outlets. The AAR was the first American car to offer different tire sizes front and back. The AAR was only offered with the 340 six barrel, but the owner of this vehicle wanted a Hemi so badly, a professional conversion was preformed. For an individual Please call Bob or Tom at 973-299-1959 with any questions. who wants a unique Hemi ‘Cuda with the ability to return it to original 340 six barrel specs, this is a great purchase.
