Every fall I put away my wifes mini cooper s convertible and buy a Jeep for her to use through the winter.I bought this last fall from the elderly original owner.I was a bit nervous at first about the high miles.I can not say enough about the way this jeep runs drives and handles.It was constantly maintained from day one.The original owner was a salesman who went up and down the entire east coast for his business.All the miles are highway.My son is now using it for his College mentorship program,which he logs 110 miles on it daily.The interior is decent,with no tears or rips in the front seats.Some discoloration of various dash plastics from sun and removed stickers.I love it when I hear people brag about foreign cars and their ability to go 150-180K miles problem free.These jeep fuel injected 4.0s are one of the worlds best built engines.The first owner had the trans fluid and filter changed every 15k miles.The transmission shifts crisp and perfectly.The front end is super tight.The alignment is dead on as is the tire balance.80mph on the highway there is not even the slightest nibble of the steering wheel.The engine uses no oil between changes.No dash warning lights on,and easily passed NJ state inspection.The a/c is cold heat is hot.Brakes are perfect with zero pulsation.New pads in front.You can drive this all over the world right now without worry.Its just that good.4x4 we used one time and it was perfect.All 4 tires match,rears will need changing in the next 5k Id say.Fronts are fine.Has a nice 2 inch uhaul hitch and wiring hookup.First owner had a small yard trailer,for mulch and stuff occasionally.Only thing I can pick at is there is the slightest bearing hum in one of the axles or carrier bearing.cant hear it with the radio on,or the window open.No better or worse since Ive owned it.Theres a surface only rust blister shown in the photo in the door jamb.The right front doorbottom, also has one that I touch up from time to time.The rare for this model,front fog lights do not work.I dont know why.Has its share of dings chips and scratches.I have its original book and dealer purchase order you can have.Has factory remotes and alarm.Has I was told is LOJAC installed.Certainly isnt perfect for the price,age and miles,but you wont find a better running one for less,and the much higher priced lower mileage ones wont run any better than this one.Still looks pretty good too.Deposit at auction close is a must,for me to hold and sell you this jeep.
