Vehicle Detail
This Land Rover (LR) Series III 88 Right hand drive(RHD) is a great example of it's kind that was only imported to the US in 2010 from Great Britain. Because it was imported recently and an RHD, it is hard to list on Ebay Motors. The VIN # is SALLBAAH1AA161142 and it has been titled in two states of the United States (GA & VA.) Particularly impressive for this vehicle is a general lack of substantial rust to the chassis which has been "blown" with a protective cover. This vehicle has provided me with years of fun and excitement especially when put to the test on some of the courses and meets with the local LR club! As with most Land Rover's of this age, it has many minor scratches and dents, each with their own story, but in my opinion just add to the character of the vehicle. This Landy has been a labor of love and includes a NEW: Fuel sender unit, Fuel Pump, ELECTRONIC alternator (no more points to deal with!), Carberator, Radiator, plugs and wires, HELLA off road lights, Tires and steel rims (including spare), stainless steel "MAGNAFLOW" exhaust system, clutch master cylinder, BROWNCHURCH roof rack, HighLift jack and many more parts and improvements will be included with the sale. Only selling at this low of a price due to "Tax Time" You and Uncle Sam will both benefit! Happy bidding! Note: This vehicle is only recently NOT running due to a leak of coolant at the front of the cylinder head ( I have new gaskets and replacement bolts{3}). It also is experiencing a loss of compression while going up steep inclines. Their is no fuel delivery issue, so I just purchased a new carburettor vacum advance and this should solve the problem since the valves looked in good condition, not worn or signs of "bore wash" when it was serviced just a year ago.
