For sale today is my 1997 4dr Honda Accord LX. It has a 2.2L 4cyl F22b2 engine with auto trans. This was my showcar for a few years but I am ready to start a new project. Here's the mods for this car: VIS Carbon Fiber Hood Full JGTC Body Kit Custom Satin Silver Metalic w/ Blue Pearl Paint Brembo Drilled Rotors AEM Ceramic Brake Pads Motegi MR5 17" Rims Newer Toyo Proxes 4 225/40R17 Tires Z3 Fenders Header Straight-piped 2.25" custom exhaust Short Ram Air Intake Misc. Engine dress-up Dynamat on every door and completely covering the trunk (~50 sq ft of dynamat) S7 Gauges Fiberglass dash and doors Full Suede interior Hand-sewed seats Suede headliner New silver carpet LED lights in the doors and center console Streetglow 15" Neons under the seats KYB struts Eibach Springs Projector "Halo" headlights 1200 watt class D amp New Rockford P3 12" subwoofers A lot of other misc mods! The interior was stripped completely down to the metal and every single part was painted or covered by suede. The paint on the interior is the exact same PPG paint/color that's on the outside. The seats were hand-sewed by a seamstress using expensive, upholstry-quality suede (not the cheap stuff you'd find at a crafts store). The carpet is brand-new carpet special ordered to be silver. All 4 doors have suede inserts. The headliner is suede. The rear deck is suede with the speaker covers a contrasting shade of blue suede. The gauges are the best S7 7-color gauges available and look great. The Gauge cluster is new. The A/C blows cold, and the heat is hot. It has 127k miles on it. It's always had Mobile 1 5w30 in it, with the Mobile 1 Extended Performance oil filter. The transmission shifts great. XM-ready with all wires run and connected, just add your SkyFi 1 or SkyFi 2 receiver. The driver's side skirt fell off during the big rainy day we had at the end of last summer. New skirts can be purchased for about $300 or just keep the stock ones on. The stainless steel headers well...they stained and show a little rust towards the top. The valve cover has been painted to match the car. The front bumper cracked at the bottom at the end of last summer as well, and it's shown in a picture. The fiberglass doors also have a little raised area or chips at the very top part of the doors because the fiberglass didn't set properly with the paint on it. What the car needs:The car has a tendency to pull or slightly shake when applying the brakes at high speed. This has happened ever since the rotors were changed. The rotor wasn't perfectly aligned when the shop pressed in the bearings.New side skirts Bumper is cracked at the bottom. Could use some attention but the crack is just at the very bottomTrunk needs to be finished out. The subs are installed and base of the trunk is built, but needs to be finished off with fiberglass etc.Transmission fluid needs to be changed. It was last changed 60k miles ago.Top part of each door needs to be sanded and re-painted. The paint didn't adhere to the fiberglass very well on just the tops of the doors.The automatic lock in one of the rear doors makes noise when locking or unlocking.The locks will sometimes not work with the key as if the lock were stickingA different cluster was installed in the interior during the interior work. Therefore, the milage shown in the car is not accurate. The car milage reads exactly 50,126 more than the actual miles on the car. Title still shows clear, up to buyer to fill out the title however they wishnew interior speakers Body kit was professionally installed by local shop. Suede interior was done by professional seamstress using high-quality suede. Interior and exterior of car was painted professionally. The paint has no scratches that I can see and only a minor ding on one of the doors that you can only see when the angle is just right. The subs are brand new P3s that have less than 2 hrs of total use. I've tried to be as accurate as possible to list every single thing I can think of. A lot of other cars that are listed for sale seem to neglect a lot. This is not my first car I've sold on ebay, and I've also bought cars on ebay. I am listing everything I can possible think of so buyer has no surprises when they see the car. This car has been to tons of shows, including: Hip Hop Car Show 2007,2x Street warriors,2x NOPI and a lot of other local shows. I haven't had it on the show circuit since the suede interior was finished, but it will definately win some tropheys with a little TLC. This car is a show car and hasn't been ragged on or treated rough. For the past few years, the car has spent 99.9% of it's time in the garage. I start up the car every few months, but the only time I've driven the car is to the oil change place and back. In the past few years, it has about 4 total hours of cumulative drive time. It has never been in an accident. Engine runs well with no noticible ticks, leaks or noises. It will certainly be sad to see this car go, as I have thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours invested, but it is time to move to the next chapter of life. I have a baby on the way and must sell the car to help with expenses.
