I BOUGHT THIS TO RESTORE, BUT I DONT HAVE TIME. IT'S A 1971 WITH A REBUILT SMALLBLOCK ( NOT SURE OF CID) WITH A MILD CAM, ALUMINUM INTAKE, HOLLEY CARB AND HEADERS, I WAS TOLD IT WAS A 400 BUT ONE OF MY FRIENDS LOOKED AT IT AND SAID HE THOUGHT IT WAS A 350. IT HAS POWER STEERING AND BRAKES, 150 MPH SPEEDO IN IT AND I THINK A 7K TACH. IT WAS ORIGINALLY A STANDARD SHIFT AND STILL HAS THE PEDALS IN IT, IT HAS (I BELIEVE) A TURBO 350 AUTOMATIC IN IT NOW, I DROVE IT TO WHERE IT IS NOW AND IT RAN GREAT AND THE TRANS. WORKED GOOD GOING FORWARD, BUT I COULDNT GET IT TO GO INTO REVERSE, I DONT KNOW IF ITS IN THE SHIFTER (ITS SORT OF RIGGED) OR THE TRANSMISSION. THE 4 SPEED TRANSMISSION IS IN THE TRUNK, WHICH I COULDNT GET OPEN WHEN I SHOT THE PICS. IT COMES WITH BOTH QUARTER PANELS, ONE SIDE OF THE FLOOR PAN, SOME EXTRA HEAVY GAUGE SHEET MATAL FOR PATCHING, 2 EXTRA GAUGE CLUSTERS, 1 EXTRA DASH BEZEL, GOOD HOOD HINGES, EXTRA SWITCHES AND GAUGES, 4 RALLY WHEELS, WITH 4 RINGS AND CAPS, A CORRECT FOR THE YEAR HORSESHOE SHIFTER (AUTOMATIC) A PAIR OF THRESHOLD KICK PLATES (USED BUT GM) LOWER CHROME DOOR/WINDOW MOLDINGS (USED BUT GM) SOME BRAND NEW EMBLEMS AND BRAND NEW GM CHROME OR STAINLESS FULL LENGTH ROCKER MOULDINGS. THE GLASS IS ALL GOOD, IT HAS FRONT DISC BRAKES! DUAL FULL LENGTH EXHAUST. I USED TO GO DOWN AND START IT EVERY FEW MONTHS, BUT IT HASNT BEEN STARTED FOR ABOUT 5 YEARS NOW, BUT I BET WITH A BATTERY AND SOME STARTING FLUID IT WILL FIRE UP. IT SAT ON BLACKTOP UNTIL I MOVED THE BUILDING IN THE BACKGROUND OF THE PICTURES IN THERE, BACK IN NOVEMBER. I WILL LOOK FOR MORE SPARE PARTS AND TRY TO GET MORE PICS WITH THE TRUNK AND RH DOOR OPEN ASAP. I'm getting a lot of questions about the motor and trans., and the cowl tag etc. (and that's fine). BUT I'M ALMOST POSITIVE this is NOT a NUMBERS MATCHING CAR, I have posted the cowl tag info,. Please don't buy this car expecting to get Z28 or a 302 Z28 motor, a 12 bolt posi unit with 4:10 gears or a rock crusher transmission in the trunk. I DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS, but like I said I didn't care. I was going to replace most of the sheet metal (as needed) and the drive train with new stuff any how, so that I would have an exact replica of the car I had had when I was a teenager. When I took the last pics earlier this week the passenger side door wouldn't open (I think the lock is frozen up) and I found out that the trunk lock is missing, I'm sure I can get them open, but I have a family member in the hospital with something eating away at his spinal cord, and have been down there most every night with him, so I haven't had time to go and try to do anything with the camaro. I'm just being honest and don't want anybody to be disappointed!! I will try to get the trunk and the door open this weekend and will have pictures to email if I do. I will post it on here if I do. The trunk floor does have some holes in it. the passenger side door post is about like the other one only it has a hole rusted clear through near the bottom, I did take a few pics, if you want to see them please send me your email address as ebay won't let me send them through the message system.
