Vehicle Detail
Pontiac Grand Prix GTP CompG - Fully Loaded Original Owner - Car is All Stock with no after-market modifications GTP - 3.8L Supercharged Engine with 260HP and 280ft/lbs Torque Competition Group (CompG) Performance Handling Package. Note that this is on top of the GTP trim-level. Not many Grand Prix GTPs have this additional package. 4 Speed Automatic Transmission wth manual shifting option using steering wheel paddle shifters (TAPShift). The transmission will either shift on it's own (like a normal automatic), or you can choose to shift it yourself. A/C, Sunroof, 6 CD Changer, XM Radio, Monsoon Premium Speaker System, OnStar, Heads-Up-Display (HUD), Leather Seats, Heated Seats. Everything works. This car does have 197,000 miles on it. However, it runs well and has been used regularly for a 60-mile daily commute on the highway. So, it has mosty highway miles. Please note that the car does have the factory CompG sport suspension on it, so it rides fairly hard and does have more suspension noise than a car with a soft non-sport suspension. This is how it's designed. The car is in good cosmetic shape, especially considering its mileage. However, it does have some paint chips, scratches and small dents. The large amount of highway miles means that the nose of the car has several paint chips and marks from rocks/sand/etc hitting it. Also notable are two 6-inch scratches on the drivers door where someone keyed the car and a small dent in the passenger-side rear quarter. The final notable external cosmetic issue is that the chrome wheels are peeling to varying degrees. They hold air fine. The interior of the car is in good shape, with only minor wear. The following notable maintenance has be done on the car: Lower Intake Manifold (LIM) Gaskets changed by dealer under warranty at about 60,000 miles. Updated style of LIM Gaskets installed, which are not leak-prone like the originals were. Transmission replaced by dealer under warranty at about 75,000 miles Struts and Axles (including CV joints) replaced at about 120,000 miles All four wheel hub assemblies (including wheel bearings) replaced at 140,000 miles Transmission Fluid changed at about 150,000 miles Spark Plugs, Spark Plug Wires, All 3 Ignition Coils, Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, and Air Filter replaced at about 190,000 Miles. An engine compression check done during this tune-up showed all cylinders with 175-180 pounds of compression, which is very good. Front Brakes have about 50% life remaining, Back Brakes have about 75% life remaining Tires have about 20% tread life remaining. All oil changes since the car was new have used Mobil 1 Fully Synthetic Oil. Please read the items below carefully before bidding: If you are interested in this car, please ask any questions before bidding. Serious bidders are strongly encouraged to arrange a time with me to come see the car and take it for a test drive. Once you bid you have entered a binding contract to follow-thru on the purchase. Non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay. While I believe this car is in good shape and still has many miles of useful life left in it, it is being sold AS-IS without any warranty. A $250 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction close. I'll accept paypal for this deposit. The car must be paid in full and picked-up within 7 days from the auction close. I will not ship this car, so you will need to come pick it up. Final payment to be made with Cash or a Cashier's Check from a major bank. No other forms of payment will be accepted. Thanks For Looking! *** 3/11 Notes & Clarifications*** I'm adding the below notes & clarifications based on questions I've be asked about the car: This is a non-smoking car. I do not smoke and have never let anyone else smoke in it. The title on the car is clear. The lien was released when it was paid off in 2006. The title indicates this. And, the finance company would not have even sent the title to me had the car not been paid off. The car does not have any notable issues that I know of, other than what I've listed above. I want to be very clear that the car is in good shape. I would say above average for its age and mileage. But, it is not a new car so it is not perfect. I will be available today (Sunday) until about 3PM. Any serious bidder who wants to come take a look at the car is strongly encouraged to do so. If you're interested in, please send me an ebay message by 12PM and I'll let you know where to come see it. Finally, I have been very up-front about the car's condition. And, I've offered to let bidders see the car ahead of bidding. So, please understand that I will not negotiate the price of the car. I am expecting the winning bidder to come pick it up with cash or a cashier's check for the final amount that the auction closes for. That is the price of the car, so please don't expect to get it for any less. If the high bidder refuses to honor his/her bid, I will report that person to ebay and then offer the car to the next highest bidder.
