This is a 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Convertible. It has a 1.7L gasoline engine and a 5 speed manual transmission. It runs, drives and stops good. It spent most of its life in California and Arizona so it is not rusty. There is NO rot on this car. There is a little surface rust here and there but nothing major. It has a repaint but it is an original gold car and the paint is in good shape. There are a few large chips on the hood and the hood is dented at the front above the latch. It also has a few dents on the passenger side quarter panel and door. I have the bumpers for the car and I will put them back on at the buyers request. I took them off because I like the look of the car without them. The top does need work there are a few small holes behind each quarter window and there are some small cracks along the edges of the top above the door glass. The passenger side vent window was replaced but needs to be drilled for the latch, which i have, it just needs to be put back on. The interior is in good shape, the drivers seat cover is worn but the foam is still good and the passenger seat and back seat covers have no rips. The dash is in very good shape with no cracks. Door panels are also in good shape with no rips. This is a nice daily driver quality car with a lot of life left in it and it gets great gas mileage. Any questions feel free to ask. Thanks.
