Vehicle Detail

Nice 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible. Easily a nice driver or spend relatively little to turn into full restoration. Non-original motor. Car was an AC car, but currently missing parts for AC. Light surface rust only and very little of it! See pics and feel free to ask questions. No reserve! Feel free to ask questions. doors sag a bit and drivers side rear window likes to jump off its track. Not a power top. Engine runs good but smokes a little, transmission shifts nicely. Actual miles are unknown. Aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. On Mar-02-12 at 16:45:31 PST, seller added the following information: There are no windshield wipers. Car came from phoenix and Im in las vegas so I never replaced them. Attention Zero and Low feedback bidders, you must contact me to verify that you intend to complete the transaction, otherwise your bids will be cancelled!!!! Sorry, but I have been burned by zero and low feedback users to often. I forgot to restrict low feedback users from bidding, so PLEASE contact me if you are one of them. On Mar-05-12 at 09:14:04 PST, seller added the following information: Added a couple pics. The car is not a fully restored car, however it is an excellent start if thats what you want to do. The paint is a little faded, but I am pretty sure a little buffing will make it a solid 5 footer paint job. If you want perfect, it would need to be repainted. The interior is about a 7. I ran the car the other day and the smoking seemed to stop when it is warmed up and only seems to come back if its ideling for a long time. (I was letting it idle to charge up the batter) So after about 5 minutes of ideling, some light smoke came back and as soon as I gave it some gas it went away again. Not sure what all that means engine wise, but I figured it might help someone. The dash and dash pad look great. The firewall tag indicates it is a los angelas built car and judging by the lack of rust, surely must have stayed in the southwest its entire life.
