Relisted due to NON-PERFORMING winning bidder. Please DO NOT bid if you cannot complete the transaction. Auctions cost seller fees. Selling my 1962 Mercedes-Benz 220SB. It was barn found in Northern California and was a black plate car. Because the 220 was out of the DMV system for years, they issued new plates for the car. It is finished in code 158, white gray on red. It is a column shift car. This is not your plain jane 220. It is the S as indicated by the 111 vin number and stacked headlights in the front. It also has the extra chrome trim on the fins and the hood. The grill is nice and the hoodstar is still present. The interior still sports all her wood. The wood will need refinishing but it is all present and accounted for. The paint is original. This is a good drive as you restore vehicle. There is some rust in the lower left quarter(see video and photo). The original radio is still in the dash. The dash has a crack in the center(see video and photo). The headliner is not sagging. The tires has deep tread and the car drives nice down the road. This old girl has all her books and manuals along with a RARE Mercedes first aid kit still intact. The top of the rear seat is cracked and torn across. The passenger front has a tear on the top of the cushion(see video and photo). The chrome is decent and all present. This part of Mercedes history will be sold for NO RESERVE. Final bid gets to take her home. I have access to an international shipper if you would like to export this gem back to Europe.
