Vehicle Detail

This is a 1988 Chevy Suburban that was used in a volunteer fire dept. as a rescue vehicle. The vehicle was maintained by our mechanics at North County Fire Fleet Maint. Div. Here are some of the options... Front and rear A/C, Chrome bumpers (front has dent, rear is bent), rear cargo doors, BFG all terrains with 90% tread left, 5.7 L engine, Automatic trans., third row seating, a not so Hi-Fi (Lo-Fi) AM radio. Here is whats wrong with it... The head liner is a little to be desired (meaning the cardboard is there but the fabric is not, The rear cargo area has dents and scratches from emergency gear, dent in left rear cargo door, dent in right rear quarter panel, both bezzels around the front turn signals are broken but has no effect on its opperation, If you like vinyl everything then this is the Burban for you. Vinyl seats (that could use a good cleaning and little repair to the driver seat), vinyl flooring (definitely needs a good cleaning), misc. holes and mounting brackets throughout the vehicle. This vehicle is sold AS IS with No warranty expressed or implied. Winning bidder is responsible for picking up and or all shipping costs. This vehicle is loacted in Fallbrook CA and you are more than welcome to take a look at it if you are interested in it but by appointment only. I can be contacted here on ebay if you have any other questions. On Feb-25-12 at 08:16:12 PST, seller added the following information: Please do not message me on mileage discrepancy, that is a typo on ebays "free vehicle report". I guess that is why it is free. If you have any reservations in our documentation of service and mileage then please do not bid. This vehicle was driven about 1500 miles per year. So to break it down for you... 1500 X 24 years = 36K. This vehicle ran about 300 call per year with the average round trip driving distance being about 5 miles which = 1500mi.On Feb-27-12 at 09:53:03 PST, seller added the following information: Mileage discrepancy (there is none!). This vehicle was purchased by Rainbow Vol. F.D. back in 1988 and it has been serviced by North County Fire Prot. Dist. I went and pull all of the records on file which went back to 1997. It may have older files that have been archived and that is still to be determined. I added a few extra pictures of the damage in the right rear corner as requested. Also added is a picture of the dates and mileages that I found since 1997. Keep in mind that most of the dates selected were just the oil changes on the vehicle. There has been other repairs but nothing major and everything was documented. In fact there is a 1/2" of service records just since 1997. Here is a quick list of some dates and mileages... In the state of California, it is the SELLER's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle has SMOG cert prior to the sale. Rest assured California bidders. If you are local and would like to come take a look at it prior to bidding, please leave me a message with your phone here on ebay and I will get back to you as soon as possible. On Feb-29-12 at 14:16:20 PST, seller added the following information: It has been brought to my attention about the roof of this vehicle which I had totally forgot about. Yes there was a light bar and it was removed and the holes (5) were filled with body grommets. There were also 2 antennas removed but left the bases in tact since they were already "filling the hole". I have added 3 more pictures to show you exactly what I mean.
