The car was delivered from Shelby to the Hertz Rental Office at the Phoenix, AZ airport where it remained in the Hertz Fleet "Fun Collection" until auction. It is listed in the Shelby Registry and only has 20760 miles. Since my purchase in December 2007, the car has never spent the night out of the garage or been driven in the rain. It is adult owned and well cared for. I have left it PURE HERTZ STOCK with original gold stripes, Hertz maintenance stickers, protective plastic in the driver floor and the original HERTZ Sirius Satellite Radio. NO modifications or changes to the car have been made as that would reduce the future collecting value of this rare 500 only Shelby Edition. I will include all of the original Hertz / Shelby documentation as well as several other collector items that will add to future value. See list below that explains pictures added with this relisting. The car is identified as Shelby CSM # 06H0137 which desiginates it is car # 137 of only 500 produced. Note the pictures of Shelby dash and under hood identity plates. I also have the alumiuum Shelby ID plate that was not installed on the dash by Hertz while in rental service. This is a great collector car as it has all history retained, NO modifications, stored in an air conditioned garage and driven very little. The only repair items that have been performed are: (1) Battery was replaced 5 months ago with a factory original Motorcraft battery to match the original.(2) Front Stainless Steel Hoods pins were replaced with Shelby original parts by my local Ford dealer under warranty due to wear. They are flawless as I never drove the car wih the pin keepers installed to keep the new plates like new. I only put the pins in for pictures or a car show.(3) The rear end limited slip clutches were replaced under warranty due to noise when making turns. This is a common repair for all 2005 2006 Mustangs.(4) Oil Changes and regular maintenance with synthetic oil and factory filters every 3000 miles. The car has a few (maybe 5) very minor scratches that was a result of rental car service. All can be made to disappear but I did not want to alter the car in any way. The history report shows a VERY MINOR accident in 2006. I found a date matching repair bill in some of the Hertz documentation and the repair cost was ONLY $324.20 (see Picture).
