You are bidding on my 1999 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor. Vehicle is in good condition and drives well with no leaks. The vehicle was originally driven by the Harvard County Sherrif's Dept in Maryland. Overall it's a fine running vehicle that has a lot of miles left in it. After purchasing, my mechanic inspected the vehicle, changed the oil, and replaced the drive belt. The tires are about 75%, and the brakes about 80%. There are no rips or tears in the interior, and appears it was well cared for by the Department. The Transmission shifts smooth and was serviced at about 135K miles. Once this vehicle was taken out of service, the original red and gold stripes were spray painted over. I had my detail-er remove the paint as well as most of the original stickers. In doing so, there are several areas where the paint came off or scratched. I've attempted to touch the areas up but with some effort but I'm sure someone can do better. There is also 1 plugged hole in the roof from the light-bar, and 3 holes plugged around the trunk from previous installed radio equipment. See the included pictures. The ABS light is on, but my mechanic states the sensor and system are operating fine. He said sometimes when the emergency equipment is removed the excess wiring creates a short triggering the light. The Check Engine light also comes on periodically. This is due to some excess rust in the area of the catalytic converter. It passed emissions fine for inspection and the exhaust is not leaking. NJ inspection good through 1/2014. The Car DOES NOT have a spare tire or jack assembly. I've seen both here on eBay for about $100. Overall a very strong P71.
