Thank you for looking at this beautiful 2001 Ford SVT Lightning. This truck has been adult owned and very well taken care of, it is rarely driven and has been serviced regularly using only Motorcraft parts and fluids except for the oil filter which is K&N. It is 99.9% original and the only modification is the cold air intake, I still have the factory intake to go with the truck. This is number 2595 out of 6381 made, it has a 5.4 liter 330 cubic inch supercharged V8 with 380 horsepower and 450 foot pounds of torque, this is the same motor used in Fords super car the GT. The only difference is the between the two motors are the Heads and the amount of boost generated by the supercharger. It was produced from 1999-2004 by Fords tuning department known as SVT or Special Vehicle Teams, and 2001 was the first year with the updated air intake system which gave the vehicle "LEV" status or low emission vehicle. This not only improves horsepower and performance it also made this a "green" vehicle that can go 0-60 in 5.5 seconds! Ford really took their time and made this truck from the ground up, replacing alot of the key parts with aftermarket parts from the factory.
