This car is a project started and never finished, due to lack of interest. It was my fathers car and after he passed away my mother asked that I keep it The original engine died , so I purchased a 1994 Camaro Z28 with an LT-1 and an automatic trans. The engine has Ca. legal headers. The engine , trans and diff. are all mounted in the chassis. The wiring is in and about 50% connected. The seats from the camaro are mounted but need to be finished and recovered. There is a brand new dash cover, and carpet kit. The steering column from the camaro is also mounted, all of the original parts from the el camino are still with it. If you have the time and ambition you could have a very fast and fun car. There is some rust in the floor pan but nothing too bad. The body is straight and was painted just a couple of years ago. I drove the camaro before I dismantled it and it was very fast and ca. legal.
