I drove and maintained it regularly until July 2011. Engine, Transmission and 4 wheel drive systems worked well during summer of 2011, they currently seem to be in working order despite sitting for 7 months. The truck has the typical rust problem that is common with this year of Toyota. Frame was temporarily repaired with angle iron in 2010 to patch up the rust located there. I was told by the inspection mechanic that in order for the truck to pass inspection again the frame will need extensive repairs or replacement. Gas tank mounts are rusted off, the truck bed is rotted out (see pictures) and held up with straps. Floor is solid on the cab, areas of superficial rust rot at the corner edge of the floor and wheel wells. Tailgate is partially bent and rusted out held closed with a strap. Roll-bar is an aftermarket piece and is for more appearance than functionality. Radio antennae mast is missing. One headlight burned out, Parking brake does not work. Drove the truck on February 17th for 1.7 miles and overall let it run for an hour, stalled once turning around when it was still "cold", engine smoked a slight bit of blue smoke going up a hill for a very short time then cleared up, temperature gauge was always in normal operating range Tire Size P205/70R15 tread depths are approximately LF: 6/32 RF: 6/32 LR: 6/32 RR: 3/32. Remember this truck is 27 years old with 152698 miles and a Toyota, which are commonly known for rust issues. The truck has EXPIRED Pennsylvania state inspection and can not be test driven legally. Buyer is responsible for pick up of vehicle from its current location (I suggest towing or trailering it) as well as payment for all Notary title transfer fees and taxes. Pennsylvania law requires the title to be transferred if you live in Pennsylvania, Out of State Buyers will still be required to be notarize the title to "assign" it properly to the new owner as per Pennsylvania Law. The local notary is normally available Monday though Friday 9AM to 5PM, Saturdays 9AM to 12NOON. Closed Sundays. Buyer will be allowed to use a local (metro Allentown PA area) notary of their choosing if so desired. $200 Deposit due within 48 hours of auction end via PayPal, balance due at time of pick up and title transfer which should be within 7 days of auction end, CASH only.
