Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 DESCRIPTION: 1951 Cadillac Eureka Funeral Hearse. May have originally been a combination car. I am only the 3rd owner of this beautiful machine. This is the last 1951 Cadillac Eureka Hearse that I have been able to document still in existence. Rebuilt carb, fuel pump needs to be rebuilt and tank cleaned. Front interior in good condition. Rear interior will need some work. Doors and hinges will need some work. Floor may need some work. Otherwise, body just needs some paint and chrome. I drove her from New Hampshire to Florida without any problems. Still has original 6 volt electrical system. Engine is 338 c.i. V8 powerhouse. Too many projects, so I need to thin the herd. Car is stored in garage in Florida. Won't take much to restore.Email for more or specific photos. I'm not sure how accurate the mileage is and will not certify this is the original mileage. I also have a large amount of spare parts for this and other models Cadillac Hearse's as well as a complete sound system including: truck boxes with speakers, amps, stereo head, DVD player with fold down screen, and more. If my reserve is met, I will include all of these items. If not, I will sell the car alone without any spare parts. SHIPPING: Buyer arranges shipping. This vehicle is not running at this time.PAYMENT: Winning bidder agrees to pay a 10% non-refundable deposit within 72 hours of auction closing. Balance due within 7 days of auction closing. Failure to make final payment forfeits deposit. If either payment is not made on time, the vehicle will be offered to the next highest bidder or put back up for auction. On Feb-18-12 at 19:15:06 PST, seller added the following information:This item is also being offered for sale locally. Seller reserves the right to end auction early for local sale.On Feb-20-12 at 15:06:15 PST, seller added the following information: This vehicle is almost 21 feet long, 6 feet tall, and 7 feet wide. It will need to be trucked out unless you are planning on spending a few days to get her back on the road. The tags are up to date as is the registration. I would not attempt to drive her back home unless you have someone go through her to make sure she is dependable for the trip back. I know of a good mechanic (honest and inexpensive) if you want to drive her home. On Feb-21-12 at 16:44:41 PST, seller added the following information: The BIN and reserve prices did not cross when I uploaded my listing. Here is the pricing structure. The BIN price on the whole package is $10,000. The BIN price for the car alone is $5000. I am open to all offers. The value for the price I am asking is there. The car is all steel.. All the glass is good, no cracks or chips. The interior in the cab is in good condition. The back deck has been replaced and re-carpeted. The back is basically a blank slate. It can be put back stock, modified, or customized with limo style seating. The carb has been rebuilt and the fuel pump just needs to be reassembled. It has plenty of compression. It is still the original 6 volt system. The stereo system that comes with the car includes two dual sub truck boxes with 4 subs., 4 3-way speakers, 4 Trillium Tweeters, 4 dome tweeters, 2 1600 watt amps, DVD player, 12" fold down monitor, and all the accessories and supplies to install. There are also 2 coffins, one very nicely done with actual casket handles; 4 funeral flag poles (no flags); another complete set of rollers and bier pins; set of landau bars; speedo cluster and ignition switch from another 1951 Cadillac, and more. Thank you.
