Vehicle Detail

New since last summer- front tires, Exhaust, Ball joints (upper +lower), Control arms, tie rod ends, idler arm, Glow plugs + Relay, Brake pads all around, Front rotors, Calipers all around. Parking brake shoes, Front Bearings, Voltage Regulator, Alternator belts, Air conditioning charge. Heat works. Air conditioning works. I painted it green last summer to help save it from the elements. By no means it a professional paint job. I used rust converter on any rusty spots and a high quality industrial metal paint to help maintain it. It looks ok. See pics for body repairs, behind passenger front wheel well. It has been taking two batteries to start it recently and its a real pain in the butt. I believe the problem is a short in the starting or glow plug system. Passenger rear window is off its track. It stays up, but if you roll it down you have to raise it by hand before using the switch. The interior is rough. Torn seats and such. The dog decided the rear seat was tasty. Still habitable though. Trunk is dirty. I use it every now and then to bring home firewood. And of course the occasional veg oil spill. Other than those two issues the car is, well, it works. 281,000 miles and still drives like a Mercedes. We have driven all over in it. Florida in November. We commute regularly Between Pennsylvania and the Cape. A few trips between the cape and Indiana too. I guess what I am trying to say is that the car goes. Far if you like. It cruises nicely at highway speeds. Especially with the new front end. Cruise control doesn't work though :( Car has a DIY 2 tank Vegoil conversion. 12 gallon poly tank w/ heat exchanger, HOH, 6 port Pollak Valve, Goldenrod Filter Wrapped w/ Heater hose, Looped return w/ 3 way manual purge valve. I prefer to sell this car to someone who does not live in the same area as me! I have had a difficult time finding Veg oil clients in the area and prefer not to sell myself short! Car is inspected but not registered. Thanks for looking!
