You are viewing a 1978 Oldsmobile Toronado XS Brougham with a rare 3 sided rear window. This is the last of the big ones, and has the 403 big block V-8. It runs and shifts perfect. Everything power works too: moonroof, windows, locks, seats, cruise, etc. Even the cornering lamps work! Tilt and telescopic steering wheel. The car has new front and rear brakes (pads, shoes, rotors and drums all replaced) and front and rear shocks and coil springs, both front axles, new wheel cylinders, new wheel bearings, new master cylinder, new valve cover gaskets, new power steering pump and high pressure hose, 5 new wider whitewall tires, new a/c compressor - blows cold! New battery. New radiator. Original radio works fine but 8 track player does not (eats tapes). It also has the outside temperature gauge on the driver's mirror (as seen on many Cadillacs of this era), but it is not working. There is some rust, particularly on the right rear quarter panel around the wheel well. However, mechanically the car is perfect. The car has had a recent full tune-up including cap, rotor and wires and has been winterized - new thermostat and antifreeze, plus wipers, belts and hoses. It is ready to go!
