Up for auction is a 1998 Isuzu Hombre 4cyl. 2.2L liter pickup. I have owned this jewel for 8 yrs and I have a need for a larger truck. All major work has been done. All glass is free of cracks. Bench seat is cloth but no tears. All lights work, along with wipers and sprayer. Newer clutch, brakes ( 2k miles ago), radiator, waterpump, starter, heater core, battery, plugs, steering tie rods, idle arm (because the bushings wore out) ujoint, alignment and tires. I have receipts for work done. I had all the speakers changed to JBL's, and a top of the line Alpine w/ CD player installed about 2 years ago. The driverside door needs a new bushing on the top pin as it has worn out, but is an easy fix. Tires are BF Goodrich Radial T/A's at 95% in rear and 80% in front. Running K&M air filter good for 50K miles, and better fuel economy and power. Oil changed regularly with Lucas. It has 228000 miles, but I'm the second owner (1st owner was a fleet company),and if you know about these 2.2L engines they are good for 500K or more, just go ask a GM mechanic. It has a shift free clutch that was improved on GM manual shifts in the late 1990s. This allows you to upshift without using the clutch if you desire thus saving the clutch and your knee. The truck has standard dings for the age and could use a paint job. I had an estimate for the body dings and a quality paint job for about $500.00. It has some surface scratches but I have touched them up. I have dark tint on the windows so check your local standards. May need to retint. AC blows ice cold and the heater works great. Dash has no cracks as I have used a sun shade, as well as a seat cover for as long as I have owned it and its been washed often. The truck has quick acceleration, will cruise at 75mph, and it stops on a dime. I will help to load it, or you can drive it home. Bid with confidence, and Thanks for LOOKING!
