We believe that at least one tire will need replacement in the future. Discount also recommended that we get an alignment, a good one. We had gotten one at Tuffys for $19.99 but Matt at Discount explained that with the 18X8 wheels the ride will be stiffer, rougher than original and Matt stated the better alignments adjust the car to the wheels and prevent premature wear. So we recommend this to the winning bidder or purchaser which ever comes first. THANKS FOR ALL THE NICE QUESTIONS AND NO LAURA IS NOT GOING WITH THE CAR LOL For sale is a beautiful Red 2005 Mini Cooper S Convertible with Dark Gray leather interior and black integrated sliding sunroof, manual six speed, with nearly all factory options (see list below). The car also has a new set of Ultra Light 18X8 Wheels 215/35ZR18 Tires that are Flat Black with a matching Red stripe (Wheels and Tires are in nice condition with normal wear and tear) The car was purchased by the owner and private seller in this auction with a salvage title. The car was shipped via car carrier to MI where it was repaired by a Michigan licensed repair facility and inspected by the local police dept. before being issued a Rebuilt Salvage Michigan title. Pictures of the car with damage before repairs were made are included in this listing. As A Michigan resident I bought this car from New York. As you can see from the pictures all damage to the car was cosmetic. The front Bonnet(Hood) and bumper was scratched and dented by the drivers headlight and the headlight was scratched. The rear bonnet (bumper) and trunk lid were scratched and dented. (All parts were replaced with new parts from Bavarian Motor City MINI with the exception of a used mini truck lid that was purchased without damage and repainted)(all repairs were preformed by Chippewa Auto which is a licensed Michigan Auto repair facility. The engine oil has been changed according to (oem) specifications. Manufacturer's installed equipment & option list. Harman Kardon Premium sound system with single CD and iPod interface, display element with cockpit chrono pack, multifunction steering wheel, wind deflector, 6-speed Getrag transmission, cruise control, on board computer, park distance control, automatic climate control, driving lights with blacked out grill. The car comes with one key and complete manual package (owner's manual, iPod interface,...etc.)in it's original pouch. I need to disclose some imperfections. The rear soft top weather strip is cracked, but does not leak, I was told by the Mini dealer this was common. All wheels show light curb rash, noticeable when viewed up close as a woman driver I am always trying to get close to the curb. There are some very minor imperfections on the car all have been touched up or repaired by Chippewa Auto and, again are only visible when viewed up close. I have driven the car for nearly 7,000 miles and found everything (except disclosure above) in working condition. The car is a blast to drive and very fast, coupled with a smooth 6 speed manual gear box. 18 inch wheels make for a stiffer more sporty ride but other than that No shakes,nor rattles were noticed. The brake noise was noticed.
