Wonderful rust free car that I purchased 8 years ago from a friend who is very knowledgeable about Mercedes. It's cream color, looks and runs great. Needs more time on the road. Shortly after getting the car, rust was professionally removed from the door sills, rocker panels, and trunk. Restored like new with steel, and fiberglass. Repainted to original by same company. Most mounts , seals, and bushings have been replaced. New front brakes and calipers. Tires are not new, but not much wear. Car has typical minor issues for it's age. Moist under tranny, power steering, but slow. A little hesitation with idle when engine is hot, and plugs start getting dirty. AC typically cool not always cold. Have 2 cans of unused refrigerant in car. Like to charge it once a year. Not positive if it's holding charge for more than that. Exterior has only minor blemishes. Slight blemish in trim moulding. Chrome is in very good shape with very slight pitting on lower bumpers and door handles that looks like it could be compounded out. Front grill and light casings are near perfect. Interior is very clean. No seat blemishes or tears. The flooring and carpets are in great shape. There is no rust underneath. Dash is very clean with only lacquer patina due to age, but no cracks. All controls are original except for radio. Good working Blaupunkt Stereo CD, but nothing fancy. I don't move the vent control levers in fear of them breaking from age, but they are perfect. Clock not working. Lights work inside, and trunk light works, but sometimes have to jiggle a touch. The headliner is in good shape other than a one foot section that has loosened by upper part back window. Rubber gaskets around windows are in good condition for age. Door gaskets have been replaced. Passenger door tighter seal than rest. Have to close door touch harder than rest. Front driver side bumper has a crack in the rubber. Trunk and wheel wells are clean no rust.
