Please, don't bid unless you want to buy and have money IN HAND at time of bidding. Thanks. 1997 Chevy 1500 Express Passenger Van Well, here is my 1997 Chevy Express Passenger Van. I had gotten this van to do some towing with my Nascar simulator, but have since bought a H2 Hummer which I am using instead...leaving no need to still have this van. The van is in perfect mechanical condition and features: -All leather seats in very good condition -7" BOSS in dash LCD TV with DVD, SD card access, AM/FM radio, iPod connect, Bluetooth capability, satellite radio capability -Upgraded pioneer speakers front and rear -Original 13" console tv in wooden cabinet (not working)-Installed Reese brake controller -Working mood lighting -Rear bench seats slide down into bed Those are the highlights. I mean I really love the van, and it rides ultra smooth, and would make a great addition to someone who was a medium to large sized family. It would definitely be the ultimate vehicle for family vacations with the comfort level of the van. The driver, passenger, and mid-row captain's chairs all have comfortable armrests which make the ride very comfortable. The van has front and rear heating/air conditioners and the heat will run you out of there if you have it on anything other than a lower level...this thing definitely kicks out some air. The 13" tv is not working. It does power on, but the picture is really too dark to make out the picture. The in-dash receiver is a nice touch because you can do everything with it like watch dvd's, connect your iPod, listen to the radio, and even watch movies and/or picture files from your SD card. I could not get it to accept cards higher than 8GB though, so keep that in mind. A couple of things about the van to also keep in mind, pretty minor stuff. The antenna has been partially broken off, so the radio reception isn't that great. You can buy a repair kit at Walmart which basically attaches to what's left of the antenna and effectively gives you full range again...they cost about $30. Also, there is a little bit of rust on the driver's side that you can see in the pictures and also a small dent on the rear, back door. There are also some smaller scratches here and there on the van also, but they are very minor and only cosmetic. Realistically, the van is in perfect mechanical condition, and if you want to schedule an inspection, feel free. Remember if you want the van inspected, you need to schedule that BEFORE making a bid on the item. Please don't win the auction then schedule the inspection later. The van is higher miles at 216K, but I would not hesistate to take this van cross country tomorrow! The 5.3L V8 engine used with this van is one of the better engines GM has had, and like the Tahoe, Suburban, etc they will run for hundreds of thousands of miles. Well, that is about it.
