Rare 1962 Corvair Spyder ConvertibleOffered for sale is this beautiful 1962 Spyder Convertible. Only 2,574 Spyder Convertibles were built in 1962 and this is a classic built at the Willow Run plant in Michigan.The car has been beautifully maintained and garaged. As you can see from the photos, there are no dents or body rust and the back window is clear. The convertible top is manual and is in good condition, with a red matching boot for driving with the top down.The tires, brakes and shocks have all been replaced and the car has been maintained and the engined tuned by an expert Corvair mechanic. The car has a matching padded dash with no cracks or splits and matching Corvair mats to complement the interior.The interior is in good conditon, however there is a split in the front driver and passenger seat and the door panels do show some aging.The original Delco push button radio works well and there is a fader switch for the optional rear speakers.Both the engine and trunk compartment are clean and rust free. This automoblile runs beautifully and turns heads wherever it is driven.
