I am the original owner of this 2000 VW Golf. I just had a valve job done (because I dropped a bolt into cylinder 3 while changing valve cover gasket) and it is running great, but the transmission mostly went out on it in January when driving to Indiana from Georgia. I decided to leave it there with my parents, and I bought another white 2011 Golf when I got home. I like the 2000 better and it breaks my heart to lose it. It will also need new front driver's side wheel bearings I just discovered. I stopped opening the sunroof last year because it once got stuck. Everything else works fine - heat, AC, stereo w/6 CD changer in trunk, wipers, etc. Has upgraded OEM alloy wheel package. Body is totally sound with no rust or major accidents (I don't honestly remember if I ever had a fender bender in this car or not). I have clear title, all maintenance records, original window sticker. Purchaser will need to have car towed or shipped from Indianapolis and is responsible for all shipping arrangements. New rear end, basically - shocks, mounts, etc.
