Vehicle Detail
This is the last time I'm going to list this truck, so here it is for $999.99, no reserve. This is a running, moving 1941 dodge power wagon, WW11, 1/2 ton, 4X4, first series, #151 off the line. It was originally an open cab but is now a closed cab flat bed, short wheel base pickup truck. Serial # is 8-644-952. Serial # is the same on frame. I've looked at a few power wagon registers, this is the oldest serial # I have seen for this style. This has a clear title I was told this was originally had a rear seat pickup box. This is a nice barn find, I don't have the heart to tear it apart, it should be restored, I've researched this the best I can, I have included the serial # so it can be researched further. I have been driving this around the yard this summer with a gas can hooked to the fuel pump and a battery, (the engine runs good), all wiring has been disconnected as not to burn anything up. I have been using the emergency brake handle for brakes (the break master cylinder is missing). The four wheel drive system works but the ring and pinion in the front end are bad (bad enough that they'll slip and catch now and then). The drive lines transfer case and rear end work fine. It holds antifreeze but does have a leak by the top of the radiator, I've drained it for the winter. I have recently plated it and now it has a good clear Montana title. He started the restoration and put the gas tank in the rear and removed the one in the cab, I don't know how far he got on the brakes, I haven't removed the hub. I see the frame has been cracked and repaired. Mileage is 66,138 miles. 6 cylinder engine # is T214-73570, head # is 1120803-8, I was told this is a 230 from a 3/4 ton. It has 16" rims. Wheel base is around 116". All windows are broken, but trims and mechanisms are there, gauge assemblies are still good, restorable, there is really no rust in this rig, a few dents, has original door, cab, and fender head lights. This is one of the first years 4X4 power wagon was made, this would make an excellent rig for restoration or rat rod. Parts are readily available for restoration. I require a $500.00 non refundable deposit within 24 hours of purchase and full payment within 7 days (cashiers check or bank draft only). Vehicle must be picked up 14 days after auctions end unless other arrangements have been made. This vehicle is sold as is, where is, no warranty. I have the right to end this auction at any time as it is for sale locally also. This vehicle will not run at time of pickup as I have drained it for the winter and there's no battery. All shipping arrangements will be up to the buyer, their responsibility. I can help with the vehicle loading, my house is easily accessible from the highway, If you have any questions or would like more information my phone # is 406-761-4180, my name is Steve.
