Up for sale is a 1952 Mercury Custom with 82087 original miles. This is a two owner vehicle it has been owned by my brother in law since the early 80's. It is ALL THERE, it has a 255CID Flathead, it has 5 new tires , original interior radio,seats headliner etc. This vehicle has never been restored. The vehicle does run however it has been in long storage and I would recommend the vehicle be gone over before taking on a long trip or something. The vehicle has a new carb,generator,electric fuel pump and regulator, the car is still a 6 volt system. The only rust the vehicle has is a small area on the bottom of the drivers door. There had been a rust repair behind both rear fender wells back in the 80's using fiberglass and there has not been a issue with that since. The vehicle is very solid throughout otherwise. As stated earlier the car is all there, no need to search for parts if you are interested in restoring the car. The color of the car is a flat black (Primer), it had rained the day I took the pictures so the car looks shiney, its not. the interior is complete however the cloth will need to be replaced. On Feb-05-12 at 14:25:37 PST, seller added the following information: After talking to my brother in-law, he advised me that the engine does run but needs to be rebuilt. He said it smokes a little and that the oil pressure is not as high as he feels it should be. However it is not knocking or has any other signs that that there may be an issue. He was a Mercury mechanic back in the day here locally, and just wanted to be up front about the engine.
