Vehicle Detail
Good running 71 Ranchero w/ 302 motor and C4 transmission, used for my shop truck and was in process of customizing it and just have too many projects, so I am cleaning house a bit.I lowered the Ranchero 4 inches, I removed the gas tank, acid etched it and sealed it. I has new dual exhaust front to rear. The wheels 2006 Mustang Bullet 8.0 x 18's the tires are 275/30/18 Nexen rear in near new shape and 245/35/18 front in descent shape. It has disk brakes in front and power assist steering. I recently had the windows tinted, limo in rear window and strip on windshield, side windows are 35%. I put in a dash pad because someone had removed it and did some creative sheet metal work which i removed. I made the Tail Lights into flat lens LED's with a diffuser lens. It has 4 diamond cut reflector H4 headlights. The motor has a Parker high rise manifold with a Edelbrock 600 cfm carb and a billet cable bracket, and a billet high flow air filter. I also replaced the stock valve covers with some smooth aluminum tall ones. It has an electronic trigger in the stock distributor and a MSD 6A Ignition Box with an MSD Blaster Coil. I have recently replaced the alternator because it was a bit noisy. I also put in a New Brake Master cylinder recently as well. I have a straight rear bumper for the rear because the one on the truck is pretty tweeked. The body has a few places with some rust which is kinda common on these cars. I have also collected some other components that go with the car, a Transgo shift kit and a chrome deep pan for the transmission, a new idler arm and some replacement front turn signals. I just got a new black headliner because I removed the other one to straighten the roof sheet metal and I have a new Lokar kickdown cable and a rebuild kit for the carb, just in case........I might have some more stuff to go with the car, I will add to the list if I come across them, i have started preparing the body for paint, I just am buried in projects and did all this stuff in the last year.......it is currently registered and insured and driven fairly often. I had every intention to keep this truck but it and other vehicles are too much!!!Update : I have this truck listed locally I have removed the Fosgate AM/FM/CD/8 disc CD Changer and the speakers to lower the price of the Ranchero........keywords: kustom, custom, bagged, lowered, lowrider, van, cargo, bus, rat rod, rat, bomb, cruiser, vw, harley, harley davidson, hauler, shop truck
